Murals are large scale paintings applied directly to the walls of your commercial, residential or community space. Murals can be used for multiple purposes:

What to Expect

  • Initial conversation and Brainstorming session - Whether in person or over the internet, we will have a meeting where you introduce the project to me and we work together to pin down the purpose of the mural, design ideas, style, logistics and budget

  • Gathering of ideas - After our conversation I will work to come up with some initial ideas and starting points. Sometimes there is some back and forth bouncing of ideas in this process.

  • Estimate and initial rough ideas - I will share up to a few ideas with you along with an estimate of their cost.

  • Sketch fee - Once we decide on an idea to go forward with, I require a $150 sketching fee. This price is included in your overall quote, but will not be returned to you if you decide not to go through with the project.

  • Sketches and mood board - I will provide sketches and a mood board and color board to communicate best with you the composition and style for your mural. I will tweak the sketch if things need to be changed before we begin, or make notes on what to change when the composition is transferred onto your walls.

  • Invoice and Contract - If anything has changed from the initial estimate it will be communicated at this time. I will send an updated invoice along with a contract for the project. 

  • Deposit and scheduling - Now it’s time to get your Project on the Calendar! In some cases, we will already have discussed dates at this point. Before we begin installation, I require a deposit of 50%.

  • Mural is created on location - Watch your space be transformed! I will work with you to create a project timeline and plan so there is minimum disruption to your space during the transformation.

  • Final payment - The remainder of the invoice is due upon completion.

 Common Questions About Murals

  • When it comes to interiors, I am willing to work with most surfaces. Exterior murals have more limitations because some painted surfaces do not stand the test of time. Please inquire about your specific project.

  • Murals start at $800. Variables that go into the price include prep work, surface texture, surface height, detail level, and branding use.

  • Anything from nature is my favorite from flowers and plants to trees and animals. I also enjoy painting mandalas and manipulating color such as ombre and aged effects.

  • No, but please do ask if you have a different idea! I have worked on some awesome projects that stretched me creatively. I will let you know if I am not the right artist for the job.

  • No, the cost to paint the wall will be an additional cost. Some walls may be muraled without a fresh base coat.
