At Urban Nest we believe that painting refreshes a room and brings a new perspective for color, and lighting, allowing you to reimagine your familiar. Painting your space provides a fresh canvas for new design opportunities in your existing space, including redesign ,staging or adding an original mural. Painting is an eco-friendly design component, which follows the Urban Nest value of sustainability.
Our Interior Painting Process
After scheduling an in person consultation with Urban Nest, we will be ready to evaluate your project with you. The first step to finding the perfect color for your space is color consultation. As professional color consultants, we will guide you in choosing the perfect color palette for your design style and space.
Following your consultation we will create an itemized bid for the painting work to be completed. Paint is purchased by Urban Nest and the cost is added to your final bill. After the bid is accepted, we will schedule you on our calendar and email you a contract to sign. We require a $500 deposit with the signed contract before we begin transforming your space. We will create a project schedule that works best for your convenience.
Painting day! We will arrive at 8am unless otherwise discussed with you, and will provide all required tools for the project. We require rooms to be cleaned and all furniture and artwork to be removed from the wall areas.If help is needed in moving furniture, please let us know ahead of the painting day. A typical day includes a short lunch break and finishing around 4pm. Each day we are mindful of leaving your space in a manner that you can navigate until completed. At Urban Nest Redesign we pride ourselves on leaving your space in top shape after our work is done. Payment in full is due upon completion of your project. We accept checks made to Urban Nest Redesign.

We will repair small cracks and holes before we begin painting. If your space has bigger repairs needed we will discuss them with you at our first consultation and let you know if we are able to complete them or if we recommend the work to be completed by someone else.

The average cost to paint a bedroom is $400. Variables that affect the cost besides the size of the room include ceiling height, wall textures, and extensive repairs, and extreme color changes for instance, Smurf blue to white.

If you are making a bold choice in color and are not on site while we are working, we will text you a picture of the color as we start to paint. If you don’t like it we will help you rechoose and adjust your bid accordingly.
